RoRo vs. Container for Cars and SUVs

RoRo Shipping
RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) is the most common and cost-effective method for shipping operational vehicles overseas. Your car or SUV is driven onto the vessel at the US port under its own power and driven off at the destination port. No container required, no dismantling.
Your vehicle must be in running condition for RoRo. Not all destination ports offer RoRo service - we confirm availability for your route when you request a quote.
Container Shipping
Container shipping is ideal when you want maximum protection for your vehicle, or when you are shipping multiple cars at once. A standard 40-foot container can hold 2 to 4 cars depending on their size - shipping multiple vehicles together in one container is one of the most cost-effective ways to reduce your cost per vehicle.
Container shipping is also available for vehicles that are not operational, and for destinations that do not have RoRo service.
